The nervous creeping around behavior is particularly common. These people are annoying because they're not around when you need them and seem stressed, but they're also not going to be hard on you about what you're doing.
Sometimes the new moms seem that way because they're stressed as well. |

Woman was about 50, so not really junior. Was an insomniac who would come in from like 1pm until like 3AM. She would email young associates assgnments at like 9pm, send shit out after midnight constantly, etc. It was like she thought the entire office was on her absurd schedule. She was also militantly feminist in a group that was otherwise a complete boys club and would regularly complain about the most innocuous comments, imputing some chauvanistic slant on them.
She was in corporate and I did litigation, so I only ever heard stories, I never had direct contact luckily. |
