I wouldn't do crossfit as it doesn't teach you good form and encourages you to do high rep lifts like snatches and cleans that should be low rep and taught by a coach who knows that. But yes, if you watch your diet, eat enough protein, and lift hard, you can come close. You should be able to lose 1 to 2 lbs of fat a week initially.
