depends on the reason for suspension.
i had too many points and was required to pay a surchage, forgot to pay it and my license was suspended without my knowledge. was pulled over, cop was decent enough not to arrest me. looked the other way and didnt give me a ticket.
If suspended for dui or failure to pay child support, lol ur fukt.

probably a misdemeanor in your jdx, as it is in most. very rarely do you have to do anything but pay a fine but you will receive a conviction that you may be required to report in the future.
often there is some kind of 'diversion' arrangement available if you don't have other convictions. this will involve some sort of stipulated order of continuance for a period of time during which you're not allowed to accumulate any other convictions or violations, or you'll be auto-convicted per the stipulation. if you keep your nose clean and pay the fine, they'll dismiss the charge after X amount of time.
most idx's have different degrees of driving suspended as well. the higher ones can come with custody time and additional mandatory license suspensions. contact the DMV to find out what level of suspension you have and why.
