In England, a lot of property that's privately "owned" is still subject to rent payable to some Duke of whatever. In all of England it's possible to buy fee title, unless it's claimed by the Duke of Wales. They put an exception in the law.
But even without the exception, all of the royals are drawing off these rent payments. Andrew's official salary put him around $200k/yr but he had $17 million to throw down for an estate in Switzerland. Moreover his not-wife spends like Benzo. He's obviously flush as fuck despite never actually being in line for the throne.
This would have been the easiest and most obvious source of dark money for Epstein, given his association with Prince Andrew over the years. Why would he even NEED to hit up anyone besides Andrew? Andrew could raise money like a motherfucker. His not-wife used to demand $500k for an initial consult. One of his speaking engagements paid $3 million. |
