The committee does what it wants to get the teams it wants in. They didnt drop Alabama because they didn't want to face the wrath of the SEC and Alabama.
The committee dropped BYU because it needed the ACC to get a bid, so then they said since BYU dropped, they had to look at Miami and Notre Dame head to head, so then they flipped those schools (even though a week before they litearlly said ND was ranked higher - and the teams did not play...) |
