Date: January 4th, 2026 3:33 PM Author: black abyss (definite and ineradicable gauge of its upward moving) I went to Aisle 9 because there was no wait, but I could see that my checker was talking to the checker in Aisle 10. The checker from Aisle 10 was quite animated. He was also very tall, like me, I’d say 6’5 or 6’6”. Anyways he was talking about some girl and showing the Aisle 9 checker messages on his phone about a girl, obviously. A giddy teenager. The Aisle 9 checker was shorter, stockier, but also chill and older. He was saying things like, “yeah man seems like she likes you, go for it.” These two checkers were having a grand ol’ time. Upbeat. Vibrant. Full of life. Well this was in stark contrast to the bagger. He was shorter, maybe 5’5”, Indian (the checkers were black) and he was just sort of rolling his eyes the whole time. When I told him thank you for bagging my groceries he kind of gave me a sour face. He also laid my final bag on top of my groceries like he didn’t care. It was the world of Clique in action. Obviously all that matters anymore is height. And obviously short turdskin teenagers forced to get a job by their parents at the supermarket are seething with rage. |
