The Doom remakes were all surprisingly pretty good
Eternal had a good deal of asset re-use but the core gameplay Bethesda fleshed out in the original was still quite nice and engaging well into the sequel
I've heard mixed things about TDA but the underlying idea and aesthetics seemed neat and conceptually core Doom
