S&P is down about 20% off its high in Feb and that's despite Trump pausing tariffs and adding all kinds of exemptions. It's really dependent on where trump wants to take this. He's bought himself time. If he slowly backs down, we don't get anything worse than a mild recession. If he holds firm and the 90-day exemption on the non-china tariffs ends I think '08 recession is on the table. Long-term I think the notion of the dollar as the only reserve currency took a big hit.
