Also, pretty wild that the show premiered like 10 years ago and there've only been 4 seasons.
What initially made the show notable was that you had really high quality acting from children with realistic dialogue. Now it's just a bunch of adults. |

of course GC cannot abide by not squeezing every last dime out of a franchise these days. so instead of a great limited series we have this meandering convoluted mess and also have to pretend that these middle-aged adults are children (and that millie bobby brown is attractive!) |

"hey, you know that thing that was super powerful that the plucky band of protagonists barely defeated? well now there's a billion of them and the plucky protagonists can smirk at the camera while they destroy them because they're so cool and powerful!" |

I listened to a recent podcast with MBB and the hosts were all fawning over her about how talented and accomplished she is. It was so weird and artificial.
