Date: May 1st, 2025 8:01 PM Author: https://imgur.com/a/o2g8xYK It's a tough album to recommend because you can't listen to it casually. It's meant to be listened to from beginning to end, and you're supposed to locked in and paying attention the whole time.
That's a lot to ask of someone and it's not how I came to "listen" to it. Instead I put it on as background music for a full month, on repeat. I just let it play on repeat for a full month. I did this during my final year of undergrad, in part as a way to fuck with my roommates and make them listen to it too. It worked, but it took a month.
Anyway that's what it takes. I'm gonna have to start a separate thread on AMERICAN music some day and try to do it in chronological order. Bitches Brew comes in at the end stages and is in many way the last great AMERICAN music album. It's also really dirty and nasty. The people who made it were very angry. |
