Did full loop at direct competitor that wrapped up yesterday and the recruiter came back this morning and indicated they are moving forward with the process. So there might be a dumb little reference check or concurrently, but we should be negotiating comp terms by Thursday latest and the range they gave means it will be a 15% bump in comp minimum plus a better title and better job overall.
Ie it’s a big enough raise and boss is dumb enough dipshit that I’m unlikely to give current job a chance to match or grovel or any of that, and will just give notice, but I do have a decent chunk of RSUs vesting soon that I will need to collect before I leave. But it’s been so damn hard to fake it this week. We had staff this morning and it was all I could do to not stand up in the middle and just walk out. I haven’t experienced Senioritis like this since my literal Senior year of high school. |
