Just be honest about your phobia - most people will willingly work around it and if it really came down to it, it's illegal to fire you for a mental disorder unless it's a key part of the job to travel by plane. you can always get xanax too but remember - that doesn't work forever and you will eventually build a tolerance to it.
Hell, one of hilary clinton's main camptain doods was a severe phobic and he drove everywhere during the campaign. |

that said you should probably *try* for a position with minimal/no travel requirements. that's a pretty standard question to ask when seeking a job. |
