I would also try to email your financial aid office. It might be more fruitful than showing up and asking them to know stuff on the spot. |

Talk to people who are in the grad programs now and see if they're applying for jobs that actually need that grad degree.
If you decide to get a job, start applying now and if you get one you like before summer than go to work rather than abroad. If you don't then just go abroad and hang out over summer. |

Also, not to be rude but the New School isn't exactly Stanford. Perhaps you could get your masters at a local college part time and still have it without all the debt?
Have you considered doing teach for america? You seem like you would be good so long as you were able to keep your mouth shut on certain issues. |

I would try to use your PR internship to try and segue into becoming an asst at an ad firm. Maybe try to take night classes leading to a degree somewhere. |

That's what I did - I was set to graduate in Dec, wasn't starting law school til August, so I added a semester abroad and graduated in May. It was cheaper than actually living abroad for 5 months.
EDIT: I guess New School tuition would be a tad more than my state college... |
