Their burgers and fries are towards the bottom of the fast food rankings, and everything else is just ok. Also, they weren't smart enough to make a name for themselves in coffee like McDonalds did. I think coffee both makes it easy for people who pretend they don't eat fast food to go in one (and maybe get a McMuffin while they're there) and is an item people are unlikely to cut when they're looking to trim costs.
Also, wtf at thinking that their competitors are Chipolte and Applebees. |

i wouldn't eat most of their crap (burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches) if it were given to me for free.
their chicken tenders are ok but it's pretty impossible to mess those up.
i think their problem is that ~10 years ago they tried to change their fries to differentiate them from mcdonalds'. only problem is mcdonalds fries taste good. also they cover their sandwiches in tons of goop (mayo, ketcup, soggy lettuce and tomatoes) that makes them nausea-inducing. |

Their fries are indeed gross. Also, their breakfast isn't particularly good, which is unfortunate because that should be hard to get wrog. |

1. No great products. There's no reason to drive to a burger king.
2. Bad locations. It's either a pain in the ass to get to a burger king, or they're in a food court surrounded by better options. The thing about McDonalds is that it doesn't really have anything great either, but the fact that they're cheap and everywhere makes me eat it more often. |

I might get a fast food combo meal every other week or so. but when I go, it's always Wendys/Burger King. McD's has the worst food whereas the whopper is actually a decent choice. I try a big mac meal every year or so and am always disappointed.
My only exception to my frequency in fast food consumption is when I visit a state with a Whataburger, which I can eat every day. |
