2. They switched to new, unbelievably shitty software (what LSD/nontradlaw use).
3. We left.
4. We spent a few days complaining on new-PR, in AIM chat rooms, and over a Yahoo email group called "prexiles."
5. Eventually, someone figured out that Rachmiel and Boondocks were starting a college board using old-PR software.
6. One year ago today, we joined them at the new xoxohth.com.
7. There was a bizarre and glorious week or so when we all posted together.
8. Then we split off into college and law boards.
That's the gist of it. |

The law boarders didn't know about the existance of xoxohth. She organized an AIM chat and people were brainstorming ideas of how to re-create the board. I think rk even drafted a letter looking for corporate sponsorship. Once people found this board, Jeff Adams the old-PR board administrator blocked all our attempts to recruit back at their new sucky board, he also came here and mildly threatened legal action since this format looked exactly like the old one. In the very beginning, the law and college boards were one. During those heady first days, all personal wars were called off - Edgar Martinez, Julia, RWA, LawyerBird got along - but soon order was restored and things returned to normal.
