I would argue that the only reason divorce wasn't so high in the past was because that really wasn't an option, for both the man and woman, but to a greater extent the woman. People leading unhappy lives I think is a negative on society, given that society is there to serve the people.
High divorce, low fertility, etc. are also a bad thing, but I think at least in the way society is set up now we can at least address the negatives of married life and adjust accordingly, rather than just blindly being in a shitty situation.
btw i'm not attributing your views on feminism on your standing in life, i don't even know for sure if you can or can't get laid, what i do know is that if you're merely looking at the marriage numbers, divorce numbers, single mother homes, etc. you wouldn't be talking with such anger. |
