after the massive Wall Street panic in October of 1907 “bankers, brokers, and officials of companies” was at the top of the list, with twice the average rate of suicide. Money is so ingrained into their existence that is all that matters to them. Just like in the great depression, the bankers greed killed not only the economy, but also themselves. It was a giant financial crisis caused by reckless psychotic bankers. Seems like we may have the same conditions today.
