I have been around the law board off and on since I was a junior or senior in high school. It was some time in 1997 (perhaps late 1997). When I started posting I never dreamed of going to a top law school. I thought I'd just go to a place like Emory or Washington and Lee.
I do recall the board being slow when I pressed the "post" button, and many times people would press it 5 times out of impatience. This would result in 5 repeat posts. However, I don't recall it taking more than 30 seconds or so.
BTW...to the original poster: I think you are thinking about Hannah, not Rowan. Hannah went to HLS and was posting on the board when I started.
I even remember when the term TTT began being used...by a poster named "Winner".... It would go something like this:
(Insert name of poster): What are my chances at UVA?
Winner: UVA is a TTT. I hope this helps. |
