i was intrigued when i first discovered AsianMasc, and actually there's some insightful and smart people there, but overall, once again i couldn't shake this cartoonish bruce lee feeling of it all. once again i found deranged characters who thought that running an actual campaign to get expats arrested on trumped up drug charges would advance the cause of asian masculinity. there's some guy called easternenigma. he's big on there, and half of his posts are good, but then he'll tell another story of how a white guy looked at him the wrong way and he barked back racial slurs after becoming enraged like an ALPHA, and then i know it's back to that obstinate bowl cut feel again. |
