If you reneged to go to another firm, you wouldn't have as much of a problem. You'd already have a job and wouldn't have to worry about looking for one, and by the time you were looking again you'd probably have built up enough work history to override any bad repuation you might have. |

They gave me a sheet that listed summer associates from last summer so I could talk to them about their experiences at the firm. Her name was on there. If she didn't get an offer, I doubt it would have been. Not great advertisement unless she is happy with the outcome.
I was dared to use the sheet of paper as an excuse to ask her about her summer at Cleary. I was too chicken. |
