i think the reason why this is the case is because most whites don't consider asian-americans as "real" americans and marginalize them. so it makes sense that they would hang out mostly with other asians. |

The latter gives the chinaman great face when you mimic his ways. If you recite a few lines of chinese poetry or show them your calligraphy, they will respect you and might even offer you the dregs of their women.
As for most American born Asians, or at least the normal ones, we wouldn't treat you any different. Except maybe smack you around a bit for the ignorant white people shit you say or do, whereas right now we just have to let it slide.
