I see myself with a much closer grip on the type of person I am and the type of person I'm trying to be. And hopefully I'll have a better idea of what my limitations are and where my potential can take me. It seems like right now, it's all just guesswork stemmed from alternating bouts of an overdeveloped ego and a crushing low self esteem.
Or so I pray . . .

It could be lots of reasons. Here's a few
1. Maybe you're afraid of the page - you've built up in your head the type of writer you want to be, and you're sure that you can be the greatest writer in the history of the world if you put your mind to it. But you're really afraid that you actually suck, and you don't want proof of it.
2. The power of fiction and poetry is intimidating. Unlike the process of academic writing, in which you focus, your imagination can be limitless - you can literally do anything, and it's hard for a beginning writer to pick from the collage of memories and thoughts and ideas in her head and start at a single point.
3. No deadlines. No pressing immediate need. You should write for your life.
4. Writing has become so fashionable that it's an industry. Most of us have no talent, but we're enamored with the prosect of being writers. We borrow money and get Creative Writing MFAs, take workshops, and work for years just to get published in a couple of small well respected magazines. But when push comes ot shove, many people would rather talk about the writing process and the life of a writer than actually write.
There are more. Any so far hitting home?

Wow. All of them are pretty true except for the fact I haven't spent money or taken a class.
It sucks. I'll just go to law school instead.

5. You're risk averse.
6. You're tempted by possibilities and paths that are more predictable and straightforward, and which you're confident that you can follow by taking a few simple steps.
edit: and like me, you have to edit your posts because you use prepositions improperly. :)

I'm not really. I just hate the pretentiousness of those who call themselves "aspiring writers." It's so lame.
"wanna be" captures the correct tone of desperation, I think.

I seriously doubt you don't care. I think you have realized that the phrase 'out of sight is out of mind' applies to your boobs. The less attention you give them the less likely they will be on top of the board for all to see when you're fully outed.

I haven't in a couple of years.
Those things suck - all empty calories. I eat fattening food all the time, but not stuff that gives me no nutrition. They do taste great when homemade, though.
I settled on eggs.

Um, a basic lassi is with homemade yogurt, water, and salt or sugar. I prefer a salt lassi, thougha sugar lassi is a totally different taste. I used lowfat buttermilk instead of yogurt, because I was in the mood for something smooth, and I wanted to save my yogurt to eat over my oatmeal tomorrow.
You can do all sorts of stuff though. Mango lassis are popular in restaurants, though I hate them.

That's just a basic smoothie.
Salt lassies are the most common ones, actually.

It's a casual everyday thing. Unless you like the mango ones, just make it at home. And if you're doing the salt ones, you might also want to add a little cumin and some chopped fresh mint.
edit: you might also want to throw in cilantro a chopped green chili and a chunk of ginger, and pull out the chili and ginger after letting it set for awhile.

This summer in Boston. I was shocked - it didn't hurt at all. It was the most painless wax I had ever had. Then the next day I woke up and had a rash. It took me a month before my skin was no longer red and inflamed. Shit waxer did something weird . . .
Now I just get thong waxes. More than a bikini, and less than a brazilian.
