Like your nickname is Bettina, Kip, Win, or Skip and none of your first, middle, or last names bear any resemblance to any of those names.

The latter would be more like Camelot or Winnimere.

nickname in this context means a name that is at least as common as your given name and is widely known to absolutely everyone who interacts with you. you're misunderstanding the cultural tradition but badly wanting to inhabit it because you have been told it denotes prestige, which is a definite prole tell.

No. There are lots of TTT houses there. Even if I had the nicest house in the Hamptons, I wouldn't want to spend any time there, it's literally a miserable place to be during summer. I feel like the only appeal is naive proles thinking it's prestigious and going so that they can brag to other naive proles.

Anywhere that every fresh out of UG professional in MFH can spend their summer in a rental house is by definition not going to be prestigious.

LOL, I know this is against your popular forced meme, but my family was always rich when I was growing up. I like Nantucket and MV (more than the Hamptons at least). Explain WHY you like the Hamptons exactly, or have you never been? Is it the 3-5 hours you spend in the car in traffic each way? The huge chunk of the weekend you spend driving around with drunk people or paying a ton for ubers to shuttle between house parties? The shitty overcrowded and overpriced bars? The mediocre beach?

It's objectively shit and only prole pumos who don't know what they're talking about, naive under 25 year olds and oldmos like it there. Even my friends whose parents spend the whole summer in their houses out there almost never go, they're all in Europe, because the Hamptons objectively suck if you have the ability to summer somewhere better.

Also would like to note that they no longer let you add pages to new or existing passports. The best you can do is cop the 52 pager to start and when it's done you have to get a new one :(

You talk about your friends with one name and never explain how or where you know them from and just assume that everyone else knows them.

You have an unusual address. For example, your street name matches your name or you live in New York City but your address is just like No. 21 East 63rd St. Or, your address reflects that you combined a number of apartments. (i.e., 750 Park Avenue Apt. GHIJK or Apt. C-F).

Sometimes it doesn't even included a street name if the locality (e.g. a village) is small enough.

When you invite people to your house, you have to tell them a different address than the navigation would direct them or a different place for parking because your home is so far from the road or you have a separate parking area. Bonus points if someone will meet them at a gate or parking area to bring them to your house.
