BLS projections obviously do not account for MAGA. All sectors will experience double digit job growth in the next decade.

older EE guys have been complaining about this for a while. it's fundamentally a niche field, and even though it requires a lot of training and work, the number of EE guys actually required by companies is limited enough to where salaries are still suppressed.

if you can't establish your own firm, you can expect to get dicked around by employers.

It is. You can expect to make low 6-figs in your late 20s and managers can absolutely PWN if they're good at their jobs. My friends/coworkers and I all own our homes and have a bunch of stupid shit to fuck with (race cars, tons of guns, motorcycles, boats, planes, etc).

low 6-figs in your late 20s with an ME degree? Care to explain more? Have never seen this. I know you can get 180k in Bay area by late 20s.

chem, but not every chem sub-field is as good. one thing to remember is that while the whole field of "biology" has been hopelessly swamped, biological chemists who can work adeptly in fields like genetic medicine are still in demand.

LJL no, I don't know anyone who graduated with a biomed BS or MS degree who is actually employed designing biomed shit. All the people actually doing biomedical are MDs with a BS in ME or EE.
