So I came down with some kind of pulmonary infection over the weekend, call yesterday get in, they're supposed to send to pharmacy, but I check yesterday after I get home and the pharmacy hasn't received. Call back this morning then go to the pharmacy (after 9 bc it's a pharmacy so already missing more work) and they still haven't gotten it so I fucking drive back to the doctor to get directly in dumbass admins face and say "send that shit and I'm going stand here and wait and watch you until you do, faggot." They send it and I immediately call pharmacy and pharmacy says "yes we got it and it will take 45 minutes."
Now clearly this was 95% my SPS GP's office staff fucking up, but a) pharmacy should be able to do something to help out instead of sitting on their asses, and b) why the fuck can't I just go next door and pick up the prescription that is automatically sent as soon as Doctor enters it into her stupid little tablet like I can at my kids' doctor? That's exactly how it will work once Amazon is fully engaged trying to wipe all these assholes out. I wanted to yell at both the GP staff and the pharmacists "in 5 years computers will do your job, I will never have this problem and it will be objectively a much better way to get medicine. You should all quit prospectively in disgrace and figure out another way to pay your bills." |

Look at simple items like packing cubes or car organizers. There's a million and one different types and colors on Amazon. Compare this to a retailer like Costco, who only carries one SKU for each item. Costco does the product research to ensure that its customers get the best item for the best price. Amazon? It's just an online bazaar for whatever people want to sell on there. If an item is particularly lucrative (vitamins, laptop sleeves, etc.) or acts as a platform to sell you more of Amazon's wares (Kindle, Echo, Kindle Fire, etc.), then Amazon will create its own private label items and dominate the market. |
