his name is Alex Guerrero.

has anyone ever heard about this guy? he's the person who put Brady on his crazy 'alkaline' diet, etc.

but Brady also considers him a miracle-worker for getting him through some major injuries (ACL, shoulder injuries, broken fingers, etc), and the other Patriots also think he is able to work supernatural feats on their injuries. he's on the Pats' payroll as a trainer.

I read an article about him in Men's Journal, which described how he rehabbed a guy's broken bones so miraculously that his ortho surgeon was awestruck.

some people think he's a con-man, though.

yeah well maybe that's what it takes to make a champion. after all, guerrero also started helping Gronk, and i would say 90% of that help has been mental. i honestly thought Gronk was done after his leg injury, as he seemed mentally shook by it. i think him also being a cult member has allowed him to continue to play as hard as he has, in spite of the injuries

well the story in Men's Journal was very interesting

some guy fell off a mountain and badly broke his foot/heel. Guerrero had the guy running around on his broken foot 10 weeks before his doctor advised him to do so. and he went to his followup appointment and his Doctor was like "WTF, I've never seen anything like this in my 30 years of practicing!!!"

OTOH, maybe the Men's Journal writer is a friend of Brady's and it's all crap.

sounds like the doc is getting a kickback from guerrero. it's not like doctors have any integrity anymore

anyways i think guerrero is really effective because his clients truly believe that he is. and sometimes the belief is all that it takes

As a nigger who has broken bones in his foot -- the total heal time is like 12 weeks and they make you put weight on it after like 3 days so 10 weeks my balls.

If you can pull off the shtick long enough this is the play. Celebrities are all dumb apparently and fall for natural remedies, pyschics, faith healers all that shit. Just gotta fake some exotic ethnicity and latch onto one then profit$$.

It's just an extreme form of the paleo diet which more or less works as advertised. His not eating tomatoes thing is the weirdest bit but whatever. The miracle bone shit is pure flame though. The diet is solid but you have to be rich to pull that shit off. Working bros can't avoid the sugars and shit that completely. Us normals don't have a freakin chef and a diet cop following us around. He's 1000% right never to cook with canola or olive oil. Coconut oil or legit better off with butter.

Olive oil is a low smoke oil. You get toxins in it at around 200C. You want to cook with oils that have a smoke point around 260C. Canola while having a higher smoke point turns into saturated fat when heated. It's better than olive oil for frying but coconut oil is better still. Olive oil is for salad dressing or for when barely frying vegetables at low temp.

Pretty sure normals can and do follow it. Most of it is quinoa, legumes and vegetables. If you cook, this stuff takes 30 min. But ya, you can't follow it I'd you're eating at chik fil a for lunch everyday.
