Kerala is developed not because of the Christians but because of foreign remittances of its expats from the Arab Gulf countries. The Northeast is also a mess though that isn't as much a fault of Northeasterners as it is of Bangladeshi immigrants. Goa has good tourist infrastructure so people might think it is developed.
