haha. i knew this would come up. you don't have to be a pua to know this stuff; it's pretty basic. 1. always escalate physically within reason, even if it's just light touching on shoulders, etc.
2. don't lean in when she's speaking to you.
3. maintain masculine polarity in conversation. this includes being in general unreactive and not trying too hard to be macho or a fucking comedian.
4. combine teasing with genuine compliments, but maintain a balance between the two.
5. i'm NOT a big fan of negging or peacocking, mainly because it's hard to pull off effectively.

examples. my class' official graduation trip was in puerto rico. it was fun but the place is a dump. HBS did not have an official class trip, but people went to amalfi coast, southern France, Rio, Bahamas, etc. also HBS has a massive Oktoberfest trip that is partially subsidized by the school. they charter their own planes and stay at a super nice hotel in Munich. finally, we had our spring gala at ciprian, which was nice. but HBS had their formal at a giant mansion in newport harbor rhode island. pretty fucking baller. gotta give credit where it's due. |
