Many people fight the term "black lives matters" off putting because it seemingly focuses on race and gives them special treatment, whereas they would prefer to live in a world that is colorblind.

Many people fight the term "all lives matters" because they feel like it is marginalizing what the issue is about which is racism against black Americans.

But to say that it is the "all lives matters" folks who "care" about the semantics here is incredibly dumb. There are few if any corporations or blue checks criticizing people saying BLM. People have been promptly fired and lives have been ruined for saying all lives matters.

The mob who cares about this language is entirely on one side.
