Acts 2 31 (World English Bible) explains how Jesus fought against decay and thus was able to be resurrected:
“he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was his soul left in Hades, nor did his flesh see decay.”

“For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.”
So, it is now clear to us that avoid the decay of death is something God wants us to do. |
