Jafar, it's an okay game, improving with time and earnest effort by the development team in the face of the withering criticism they received from the half-baked launch (reminiscent of No Man's Sky in that regard) but IMO it doesn't hold up to the two earlier or one future entry in the series; it suffers in the same way Peter Adams suffered in the shadow of his elder brother John, if that makes good sense. If you're looking for a purer gaming experience, I'd suggest checking out Cyberpunk 77, Cyberpunk 1977, or Cyberpunk 2177. I can give more details about any of the titles if you're interested.
Thanks,

Thanks Jafar. Yes, I did play Cyberpunk 1977 seriously for about fourteen years, so I was able to develop certain impressions of the game from that extended period of interaction; I also found myself changing over that 5,000 day period as I communed with the game so it was a real use-response dialectic which ended up consuming me and fundamentally altering the character of my being.
In Cyberpunk 1977, you play as a thoroughly masculine literary force ensconced in a high tower office overlooking the University of Chicago quadrangle. The game begins in media res with you in the midst of a full-fledged invective back-and-forth letter writing campaign with your nemesis and muse, John Cheever. You spend most of the daylight hours in the game haphazardly teaching undergraduates basic literary principles and feigning appreciation for Tess of the D'Urbervilles. In the evenings, your focus shifts to smoking copious quantities of cigarettes and trading time on a typewriter where you're composing your latest tour de force and your writing desk where you either review the latest missive from Cheever or else prepare your own responsive correspondence to the last letter you received from him.
You go about doing this for several years--the game tracks chronological time on a second by second basis--and as you continue to play you begin to observe alterations to your physical appearance during your morning shaving ritual, which at first you toss off as simply the consequence of late nights in worshipful hateful correspondence with John Cheever but eventually you're forced to admit are the piling stone weight of year on year of life on this planet as you move toward your ultimate grave.
It was a great game and I rate it a 7 out of 10.
