Rate my skateboard skills (CSLG)

Date: February 9th, 2023 7:54 PM Author: Razzle-dazzle indecent gas station I haven't skateboarded since around 1999. So maybe 24 years or so. My son skateboarded a little bit when he was younger and he has a board I would ride around on a bit too. But I maybe used it a handful of times and didn't practice tricks. When I packed up for my home renovation I found my old skateboard a few weeks ago when I got my guitar.
It's crazy how good I am at everything. I can't wait until I retire to just keep picking up hobbies and excelling in them. That's what life is all about.
I'm going to try and knock out a few big spins, Variel flips, and 360 flips in the next few months if I can. When I was younger I could ollie 10 stairs, kickflip 3 stairs, and do a bunch of flat ground tricks. I think my kickflips are still pretty clean.

A few years ago I did a similar thing and nailed a big heel flip on my first try right in front of my son. I then put away my board like it was NBD. (I have a motorized longboard that I still use, which is sweet, but hadn’t done any “real” skating in years.) I promised my son this spring I will teach him to skate with the goal of heading to the mini pipe near us by the end of the summer. |
