Rate my skateboard skills (CSLG)

Date: February 9th, 2023 7:54 PM Author: bateful ultramarine parlor I haven't skateboarded since around 1999. So maybe 24 years or so. My son skateboarded a little bit when he was younger and he has a board I would ride around on a bit too. But I maybe used it a handful of times and didn't practice tricks. When I packed up for my home renovation I found my old skateboard a few weeks ago when I got my guitar.
It's crazy how good I am at everything. I can't wait until I retire to just keep picking up hobbies and excelling in them. That's what life is all about.
I'm going to try and knock out a few big spins, Variel flips, and 360 flips in the next few months if I can. When I was younger I could ollie 10 stairs, kickflip 3 stairs, and do a bunch of flat ground tricks. I think my kickflips are still pretty clean.

A few years ago I did a similar thing and nailed a big heel flip on my first try right in front of my son. I then put away my board like it was NBD. (I have a motorized longboard that I still use, which is sweet, but hadn’t done any “real” skating in years.) I promised my son this spring I will teach him to skate with the goal of heading to the mini pipe near us by the end of the summer. |

You need to get some speed so you can convert your forward momentum to vertical height, do the tre, then catch it on you feet and put the board down straight to keep moving.
