Everyone's pet excuse for Ukraine losing is that we gave them old, gimped weapons. No ATACMS, no modern aircraft, <300 modern tanks, NO APACHES, etc.
The implications of this seem profound and most of them should be obvious enough that I shouldn't have to spell them out. But I think one obvious implication is that these weapons will not be headed to Ukraine any time soon.

Odd case: Various NATO countries shipped Ukraine a whole fuckload of missiles and bombs that can only be launched from western aircraft. Can't make em work with Russian jets. This is why Ukraine needs dem F-16s so bad. It's got all these fuckin missiles and bombs it can't use.
Israel's got F-16s, F-15s, F-35s, you name it. But Ukraine got dem missiles. What if Israel wants to re-up on bombs but Canada and Europe already shipped their supplies to Ukraine? What will Ukraine ask for in exchange for some bombs?
