Here's my take on the tsinah/zzz motion hearing

Date: April 3rd, 2024 4:56 PM Author: magical duck-like locus ZZZ won it hands fucking down. he opposed a motion, had a bitchy judge who didn't like him, and still managed to throw enough shit at the wall to stop it. thats what matters, RESULts. and he got them. lawsuit continues. discover spends more legal fees. whether he can leverage this victory for a settlement we'll see.
the citation stuff isn't a big deal at all. yea he should have known it but who cares. this is a tiny case for him. doesn't make sense to spend a bunch of time on it. He's probably sick of tsinah at this point too and is neutral on committing to this case.
the real blame goes to the lawyer for discover and its absurd she is being given a pass. she filed an MSJ and didn't include key evidence. it is HER motion, not ZZZ's motion. it is her burden and she asked the judge to just ASSUME tsinah paid. she is the one at fault and the one with the embarrasing performance.

this whole episode is basically a litmus test for who is connected to candy ride/zzz. there is absolutely no unbiased lawyer who read the filings and viewed the hearing thinking "wow, zzz did a great job!" like, we all fuck up sometimes, and if this was me i'd own it or walk away. but the stubborn retardation is really what makes this great. this whole thing would have been over monday evening if candy ride didn't show up to defend zzz and declare victory. |
