Ubuntu is also moving to rust, which an unfamiliar coding language for most Linux users. Ubuntu also has all kinds of proprietary drivers. I think someone is banking on Ubuntu being easier to hack than Windows, especially with MS putting all your shit on the cloud. Windows 11 is already some kind of shape-shifting cloud OS that barely lives on your PC.
