You sand down areas where there's a hole in a boat, then mix some chemicals, lay down fiberglass material and brush on the chemicals. Then sand again, and voila. Hole is fixed. Then there comes the gelcoat which is basically hardened paint that cures. I knew nothing about fiberglass 5 days ago. (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5720966&forum_id=2#48907319)
