Honestly, I'm still not sure you're him, and I'd like to confirm, but obviously I prefer doing this on IM.

The most fantastic ending to this whole thing would be someone (presumably paulie) being suspended above the shark tank of an Iranian mob boss. He is dangling from a chain of some sort which is attached to a pulley. Counterweighting him and keeping him suspended *above* the tank is a massive slab of Grade A steer in the water. As the sharks chomp apart the slab of beef, however, the counterweight factor is gradually diminished: the beef goes up, up, up and the xoxo offender goes down, down, down as the sharks become worked into a feeding frenzy. And YLS 1L watches from some sort of observation deck.

Yeah, that'd be sweet.

honestly, i never targeted heide. and if RD didn't get his stupid head involved, heide's publicity would be much less. RD is the reason that all this new stuff has come to light. its not like i was sitting around searching for it. its more like RD targeted Heide and xoxo for a story, got the story, got the press, and made sure that Heide was targeted again by xoxo... which just made it likely that new info like this would come out. ppl emailed it, ppl posted it, etc. its not like i'm after heide.

so i just think it should be RepDef guy on the pulley.... that's all i'm sayin'

I can't lie...i'm more concerned with the whole pulley thing coming together much, MUCH more so than I am with who's on it. For better or worse, I've stopped caring in the slightest about the "who" of any of this and am instead far more interested in watching the story unfold. I've basically come to think of all involved as paid actors carrying this out solely for my amusement.

do they have bees in their mouths and when they bark(or whatever sharks do) they shoot bees at you?

Doubtful on the bees. At best, there will be piranhas in their mouths, and when they open their jaws wide, roll their eyes back and prepare to take a bit of the steer, the piranhas will "escape" and be unleased into the tank. Hardly normal piranha, these guys will be some sort of fish/machine hybrid, the details of which I haven't yet worked out.

Luckily my people have worked out the details for you.

http://www.fogg.cc/robots/fish01a.jpg

Meet Micro Fish. Micro Fish was designed to emulate the appearance and behavior of a catfish. This model uses parts from the Lego Robotic Inventions set and one touch sensor from another kit.

Two motors were used in the assembly of this robot. One motor provided drive to the propulsion assembly and the other was used in conjunction with a cam to flap the tail of the fish in a back and forth motion. The front wheels are jointly driven by the front motor while the rear wheels are mounted on a straight axle and serve only to balance the model properly.

The body of the model consisted of structural members joined together and attached to the RCX brick. The fin assemblies consisted of flat triangular pieces attached to the structural members and reinforced with smaller flat pieces.

The sensor assembly had two touch sensors sandwiched in between small flat pieces. The two touch sensors are attached to the same input port at the RCX brick. A third touch sensor is located on the top fin. This sensor is used to signal the RCX brick to start the program. Once the program starts, this sensor becomes a "survival sensor" -- when touched, the fish thinks it is about to be eaten and quickly attempts to swim away.

Various pieces of flexible tubing were used to fabricate the head portion of the fish. These tubing pieces also provided support for the eye assemblies and were attached at each end directly to the structural members.

Programming was a little more difficult than some other designs we have tried. We determined that the power for the tail flapper motor needed to be reduced due to vibration caused by the large radius of the tail motion. A routine was added to have the fish start and stop swimming at random intervals to emulate the actions of a real fish. Another routine causes the fish to reverse when it encounters and obstacle with the whiskers. We also added a survival routine that caused the fish to charge forward for a random period when it "felt" a touch on the rear fin.

unless there was some sort of spring, wouldn't the steer completely suspend him until the precise point where it no longer outweighed paulie and then at that point paulie would ver quickly go to the water? there wouldn't be any of this slowly going down as the "counterweight factor" decreased as the steer was eaten.
