you should ask MIT's pre law office what #s you need from MIT. usually UG doesn't help much, but your UG is HYPSCM-range. it will help you. plus you are an URM. you could have a 3.1gpa and get into the same schools as that doofus even if your SAT is only 165ish.

ppl from GWU who get BIGLAW have ivy or ivy equivalent (the short list i gave before) UG on their resume. otherwise, you're looking at needing top 10-20% for sure.

fordham is similarly loaded with thse types. at least 25% of the class in a given year are ivy or ivy equiv. maybe more like 40% but you'd have to ask a current student. penn + cornell UGs make up literally 20% of the class by themselves; lower ivies are ubiquitous at GWU or Fordham
