Help!!! Creepy Stalker wants to follow me to London!!!

I made the mistake of agreeing to watch Spiderman with him last week. He had no idea what he was doing so we ended up having to sit in the third row. It was horrible. We were surrounded by dumb college students, my neck was sore, and to make matters worse, he kept trying to make body contact. Too bad this guy has absolutely no game, so it was more creepy than sweet.
After the movie it was raining, so we split a cab to my apartment. This cheap ass made me pay for the cab! Classy. Both my roommates were out, so there was no way I would let him come up with me. I made up some excuse, said I didn't feel well, and said bye there.
I was hoping he would get the message, but this guy started sending me creepy "want to have a nightswim at my place" messages. It was more annoying than anything, but it's also a little disgusting. Luckily I was leaving for London for the summer on Monday, so I thought at least I can get away from him.
Last Wednesday night, he actually showed up at my door! He buzzed me, but I didn't want to let him in so I met him at the front. He told me that he bought 2 first-class tickets to Vegas, "4 star accommodations" (even though he didn't even know what hotel it was), leaving the next night and returning Sunday. Needless to say, it was the creepiest fucking thing ever. I mean, we only went out to watch a movie once! What makes him think that I would go to Vegas with him? This guy has absolutely no game, and is trying way too hard. I actually feel bad for him. I quickly told him that I can't go because I have to get ready to leave on Monday. He looked devastated. I apologized, and asked him what he planned to do with the tickets, he said he was going to give them to his parents. We chit-chatted for a few minutes, and I came up with an excuse to run back to my apartment ("sorry can't invite you up, early day tomorrow"). I told my roommates the story, and they were surprised that I didn't call the cops yet. I actually didn't see the need: this guy is a huge loser, but he seemed mostly harmless. In fact, it's a little sad.
But now he's messaging me online, saying that there is a chance that he might be in London this summer!! He said he might get a job there, and is asking for my contact information so we can "hang out". What should I do? How can I ever get rid of this guy? I try to get him the benefit of the doubt, but he is really creeping the shit out of me. Should I call the cops? But what would I say? Technically he hasn't done anything yet.
What do I do?? Please help! |
