i dont have health insurance. my mother does. her name is the same as mine excepting one letter which is easy to change. is this going to be easy to pull off?

edit: it's for heartburn medication. she's already taking some, but it's different from the medication im trying to obtain.

To prevent heartburn, try not gobbling your food, and elevate the head of your bed. Our failure to savor and enjoy our food makes the US the only culture in the world in which heartburn is a health problem.

Lots of people don't have health insurance. Last week, one of my friends cut her foot open when she stepped on some glass. She insisted that another friend who's a doctor come over and do the stitches instead of going to the emergency room - turns out that she didn't sign up for COBRA when she switched jobs and doesn't have health insurance for a month or so. Same thing often happens to people who graduate school but don't start work immediately after, and to law students during the summer they study for the bar. Private health insurance is REALLY expensive, and it can be hard for a young healthy person to justify paying for it for a month or two.
