Did anyone else fall victim to the facebook phishing scheme?

Date: November 24th, 2007 12:35 AM Author: stimulating sweet tailpipe lodge For those of you that don't know, there is a thread in this forum purporting to link to a set of facebook photos, but it is a fake phishing site designed to look like facebook. It really just logs your login information. If you look at one of the replies in the thread, you will see there is a link to a list of all the people who were hacked, along with their login info and IP's. It is 100% real.
What do you think the fates of those on the list will be? There are over 100 .edu addresses.
How many people on the list were from xoxo?
I changed my pw about 5 minutes after I submitted it. I just hope to god no one ever logged in.
PS: To any of the people responsible who are reading this-- I don't have any beef with you, but you could potentially ruin lives with the information you have and I hope you reconsider keeping the info public. |

If you search the email addresses on facebook, many of them are current or former law students. There were NOT 100 people on xoxo last night at 2 AM. Any address not already on that thread is almost certainly not an xoer. |
