Upper middle class, nothing special. Dad black sheep of old money family; traveled the world and lived a full life building kibbutz's and teaching in 3rd world countries, but got screwed by first marriage to Jewish woman. Built ill will toward Israel (but not anti-semetic), settled with minority and had me.
Don't know why I shared this but I guess no where else to "vent".

"I was deeply interested in...Zionist affairs and activities — or what was then called 'Zionist,' though the same ideas and concerns are now called 'anti-Zionist.' I was interested in socialist, binationalist options for Palestine, and in the kibbutzim and the whole cooperative labor system that had developed in the Jewish settlement there (the Yishuv)...The vague ideas I had at the time [1947] were to go to Palestine, perhaps to a kibbutz, to try to become involved in efforts at Arab-Jewish cooperation within a socialist framework, opposed to the deeply antidemocratic concept of a Jewish state (a position that was considered well within the mainstream of Zionism)."
"I am not one of Israel’s fiercest opponents; in fact I am very favorable, very friendly to the people of Israel. That’s an interesting concept, “Israel’s opponent” it actually has biblical origins, and people who pay attention to the bible should know where it comes from. It comes from King Ahab, who is the absolute epitome of evil of the bible, the most evil king. He called the profit Elijah to him, and he condemned Elijah, and he said to Elijah, why are you a hater of Israel. Why was the profit Elijah a hater of Israel? Because the king like every totalitarian, identifies himself with the country, the society, the culture, and the people and therefore if anyone criticizes the evil king, he is anti-Israel. A hater of Israel. And the term still means the same thing… it’s the same concept here. I’m not Anti-Israel, not at all. In fact read my interview on Harratz, because we go into this. As for being a Zionist, well back around 1940, early 1940’s I was a Zionist youth leader, and I was opposed to a Jewish state, very strongly opposed, but that was considered part of the Zionist movement at the time. We were in favor of Arab-Jewish cooperation’s. Socialist movements… working class cooperation, but no Jewish state. Who wants that any more than an Islamic state? ..and I have basically held to the same positions, I mean obviously times changed, different short term goals, since 1948 my feeling was I didn’t like the establishment of the state, but it was established. So my feeling was to have all the rights of any state in the international system; no more, no less."

Dad: huge nerd. Although a natural athlete, he focused almost entirely on academics. Still in excellent physical shape. Became very, very successful in his field. Retired early to start his own company. Has always done well financially, but his whole life has been devoted towards helping society. Money was zero motivation. Stoic and thoughtful, not a big talker.
Mom: very goofy. Loyal and devoted. Outstanding cook. Emotional and sometimes tactless. Very talkative. Spends a lot of time doing volunteer work and helping those who are less fortunate. Also in excellent physical shape.
My parents probably wouldn't be thrilled about xoxo because of all the racism/sexism/etc. Actually, they would be disgusted. I don't think they'd care about what I post, though, because it's pretty innocuous and boring.

Dad- smart, honest, hardworking, wealthy old family, owns alot of businesses, very healthy.
Mom- hard working, bi-polar, working class/ peasant family. Not overweight (like many older women are).
The best in me comes from pa, my drawbacks are from mum. Both are very conservative and modest, except when it comes to their houses.

Not schtick at all:
Mom is high school educated, not the brightest bulb but she's "street smart," whatever that means. She's VERY "crazy;" like, my friends say they've never met anyone as "wild" as she is. Not wild like she rides motorcycles, but wild as in she's just ... I don't know how to explain.
Dad is high school educated, very smart, but has always been in trouble a lot. He's in prison right now and for a good while longer, for various reasons including but not limited to running a prostitution ring.

Dad: dabbles in hobbies but can't commit (pilot's license training, Mandarin, golf). Not too strict. Short but young-looking. English sounds like a black Texan's drawl at times, for some reason.
Mom: supremely calm and oddly rational and non-materialistic. Perhaps not as intellectual as dad, but more likely to be thought of as an smart, well-rounded person. Runs household and finances. Pretty and very busty for an Asian.

Dad: grew up in coal-mining town. no shoes. working since 12. student body president, many girlfriends. got college degree in computer science. started off in real estate, bought business with his brother but got pushed out. Bought existing business, now makes 7 figures. smart guy. emotionally stunted and shows; juvenile in some ways. Moody. A real asshole when drunk but doesn't happen too often. Can't relate to children at all but is alright talking to him as an adult.
mom: fairly smart. high-school educated. extremely responsible. works with my dad. runs everything, including designing our house, taking care of finances, etc. submissive to my dad. dad was her first boyfriend, they married when she was 21. nice woman. fairly annoying though as she can't seem to relate to me and instead just nags about stupid shit. OCD neat freak. Not that materialistic as expected; poor growing up as well. however now she sports a 150k ring. 3 carats, G, I-F. Like my dad, she also has 7 brothers and sisters.

why are you such an angry little bitch?
LOL, even with a community college education your mother is still a sorry cunt bitch who doesn't have two nickels to rub together. I'm sorry meaningless piece of toilet paper gives that gutter cunt fuckface the impression her pathetic failure of a life actually means something.
why would i make up new residences? we have a $5 million dollar house. it's amazing what dumb poor trash faggots like you will waste your money on. Good thing you'll never be able to have the choice.
Nah she doesn't wear it out regularly. just special occassions. Yes people worth 20 milion don't have an appreciably different standard of living. When we lived in a $1.2 million dollar house, it wasn't that big a difference. the main difference is a pool house with an indoor pool in the back with a sauna, marble everywhere, movie room with 20k film projector, nicer cars, nicer tvs, nicer furniture, jacuzzi in every bathroom, etc.
I'm sorry you're a poor inbred cunt faggot who can't escape searing poverty even with a toilet commmunity college degree.

1. LOL at your retarded mothers HS education, that is incredibly trashy. Your father should be ashamed (and he would be if he wasn't poor trash)
2. LOL, 1 residence. Sorry about your poor family
3. You are seriously continuing with this 20mm isn't different from 2 mill nonsense? ROFL you are a stupid faggot. People who actually have money aren't worried about projectors and jacuzzis, ROFL at your poor parents
You've made it painfully obvious that your family is upper middle class at best. Sorry about your tiny pink shtick.

LOL, sorry you're a poor faggot. no really, i am. Your pathetic jealousy is boiling over as you realize that your shit dreams aren't all they're cracked up to be. that material possessions don't bring as much happiness as you thought they would. Because without them, you're just stuck with your faggoty cunt personality and taht sure as fuck doesn't bring you any happiness. Without material possessions to strive for your'e stuck with that tiny pink dick in your hand and have no hope so you might as well kill yourself.
Please tell me about people with $20 million net worth. Go ahead inbred cunt faggot; this should be good for a few chuckles.
btw, growing up while living in the $1.2 million house as a kid, we still kept our old 450k house that we lived in when i was real young, though we just rented that out. I guess technically that's two residences but i don't really consider it as such. Sorry you're a jealous little faggot.

So you aren't going to address anything I said?
1. You mother is TTT trailer trash with a HS education. If she is living a life of leisure why wouldn't she take some classes and get her degree. Sure she doesn't need it, but it is disgusting to not have a college degree. Then again she is probably tacky and ostentatious
2. Why do you only have one house in the middle of nowhere?
3. Lol, you never travel, you have one shitty house in the middle of nowhere, not even a modest size boat (all you could afford)? and you are worried about TTT shit like projectors? Sorry about your tiny pink net worth you poor piece of shit.
4. LOL, do you realize how small a 450k house is even in the middle of nowhere? Sorry your parents aren't worth close to what you wish they were, it's sad really.
OWNED YOU POOR

How about we save some time and you just tell us how you think someone with a $20 million net worth should live. Obviously you can't speak from experience so tell me your delusions.
LULZ @ YOU THINKING A DEGREE MEANS ANYTHING. Having a toilet degree doesn't erase the stain of poverty you poor disgusting faggot. I'm sure a faggot like you would rather be a useless cunt like Vos Savant than someoen rich like Oprah but there you go; you dumb cunt faggot. LOL.
why do we need more than one house? When they travel, they go abroad. 80 countries, 40 vacation days a year on average. Why would they give a shit about buying a shit house in some shit state that they'd only visit a few times a year anyway? way to waste money you stupid faggot.
I never travel because i don't have time. they do about 40 days a year. a boat? Why? a decent one starts at $5 million. They don't even enjoy that shit so why drop 1/4 of their personal fortune on something so retarded? you're such a stupid cunt.
As for our starter home, I guess your dumb faggot ass missed the part where my parents grew up poor and amassed the fortune over the years. Plus it shoudl be obvious we don't really waste money on stupid shit like boats when we don't ever go boating. you're such a ridiculous faggot

LOL at continuing to try and explain away the fact that your poor, dumb shit mother has a HS education. Why don't you have time to travel, you are in LS, not at a job, you have tons of freetime, whoops (please tell us it is because ND is a national school and SO rigorous, we all need the lulz). Did I say they had to buy a house in the U.S.? DING!Fag! LOL at your concept of what boats cost. Something good enough for poors like you could probably be had in the 1-2 million range, boats of good size are more than 5mm. Of course you poor fucks don't enjoy boating, maybe get a timeshare near a nascar track, that seems more your speed.

Pops: shortish, dark, broad schoulders, hard hands. Self-made man. Not rich, but financially comfortable and well-connected in local politics. Undergrad degree from my country's #2 university. Practical man with litle interest in or facility with abstractions; pretty strict.
Mom: medium height, slim, fairer skin. Very tough and strict. It was her idea to get me English lessons growing up. (Her brother was in the merchant marine, and told her that English was the way to go.) 2-year degree. Pretty crazy but makes good decisions on an intuitive rather than rational basis. This makes holding a conversation with her incredibly stupid and annoying because even when she's right, she's still crazy.

Dad: Grew up the youngest of five children. Was a hippie for several years. Lived out in California for about 10 years working various jobs. I believe had a wife before my mom, but I don't what happened there nor have I cared to find out (I think she died; I could probably find out easily as most of my cousins were around and old enough then to remember--I'm the youngest cousin on both sides--but I haven't asked). Moved back to his home state when he was around 28. Met my mom at communitiy college, then they both went to a true TTT four-year college because it was all they could afford. He got his MBA and became an accountant. He is a recovering alcoholic, but he has been completely sober for over 20 years now. He can be a difficult man, but he is smart. He was an asshole for a father a lot of the time, but his intentions were good.
Mom: Almost polar opposite of my dad in terms of personality--she is almost a decade younger than him, too. Smart and hard-working. Also the youngest of five children. Never really been alone (married my Dad when she was 20). I think she could have accomplished more if she hadn't gotten married so young. Very sweet and nice, but can be too smothering. She went into social work, but got tired of being a poor and switched paths. Still wishes she went into nursing, but her mom talked her out of it. She runs a clinic now, though.

My mother's English. Her people were minor gentry/Anglican missionaries/army officers/colonial civil servants. She was born in South Africa, went to school in England, and went to college in the US because her father was posted to the US Embassy in DC. My mother's about 5'8, skinny, gray hair now almost white, spends her days playing tennis or reads mysteries, eats only salads, and uses her English accent to get what she wants. She's lived in America for over forty years now, but she still calls herself a Tory Englishwoman.
My father's from polite, provincial, Pennsylvania. His family owned one of the town's three factories, long since sold. He met my mother because his prep school roommate's sister was my mother's roommate in college. He has a phd and made full professor with tenure at JHU when he was only 37. He's turned down offers from other universities. He's easily the brilliant figure in the family. His attitude towards politics is one of amused detachment, and he looks down on most of his fellow faculty. For those of you who care, he's about 6'1, skinny, with rusty brown hair going gray. His true passion is sailing and ironically he is also completely unable to tan, and goes from white straight to red.

Never heard of these places. I didn't really spend time at the Baltimore bars. Went to boarding school for high school and gradually lost contact with most of the Baltimore kids I knew, except for a few. When we do go out, it's usually the Mount Washington Pub or the Charles Village Pub, and a few places in Fed Hill/Fells' Point. But I couldn't tell you the name, except for Admiral Fell's Tavern, and I'm not sure if that's even the correct name of the place.
I'm better versed on the Baltimore restaurants because my parents like to dine out, and when my wife and I visit them, that's what we do for entertainment.
You. From Baltimore?

Brasserie Tatin?
Good. When it first opened it was comparable to Petit Louis, but now I'd say it's slipped a bit. But still very good.
My favorite restaurant at the moment is Woodberry Kitchen. Excellent food.
What do you do in Baltimore?

Both pathologically selfish and self centered, both have masters in math although neither has any interest in math. My mom now teaches, my dad is a writer, radio DJ, and general hippy floozy. They are both incredible floozies, actually. Mom still weighs about 105 and looks great for her age. Teaches yoga and aerobics in her spare time.
My step dad is a depressed psychotic nutcase.

Narcissistic. Psychotic. Psychopathic.
Imagine your parent not merely as neglectful, incompetent or abusive, but as massively emotionally invested in assuring your complete failure in life. Imagine that your parent would rather see you die than succeed or surpass him. Imagine that your misery and suffering are someone's life's blood, that your humiliation is his survival.

Mom= useless, semi-white trash whore that can't live without a man (been married five times). Selfish and self-centered. Has an ok paying job in an okay field but could never seem to help family out financially. Haven't talked to her in two years and haven't seen her in four.
Dad= My dad can be an extremely generous guy or a total asshole. He's hardworking, very smart guy that was the blacksheep of his family of four kids (two brothers are computer engineers and sister is a CFO of a hospital; my dad never went to college). Owns his own business making good money in a blue collar field. Thinks he's always right. Yells about everything, even when he's not mad. Was kind of a crappy dad but had good intentions.
My mom doesn't know anything about my life and my dad has seen me post here, but I doubt he remembers anything about it. I've posted from his house while bored before. My dad pretty much knows everything I've ever done that's not sexual. He's aware of my failings, my love of illegal substances, and my excessive debt.
