GW 3L HERE THAT CAN'T GET BIGLAW. RANKED TOP 1/3-1/2. I GOT ONE OFFER FROM A SOLO FIRM BUT ITS TOO TTT. ANY ADVICE GUYS? I DON'T WANT TO DO DOC REVIEW OR GOVERNMENT WORK. PLZ GIVE ME ADVICE OTHER THAN KILLSELF. ARE ANY OTHER T20 GRADS HAVING THIS KIND OF TROUBLE TOO? |

2) Don't be so confident that you could get govt work even if you wanted it. You would have had to be working an angle at a govt job in DC for the past 2 years now.
3) The new IBR program will somewhat bail you out. Just pay your 15%, let your loans accrue, live cheap and pray for inflation. Not much you can do. Go work for that solo in Maryland and learn how to run your own divorce/DUI/whatever shop. Either that or do a state-level clerkship and worm your way into a shitty job in the state of your choice. |
