I always imagined the social angle as some kind of violent, French Revolution-style classist revolt. But in living through this stage of collapse firsthand, I'm realizing it's predicated on increasing numbers of people just checking out in disgust and/or wanting it to fall because it's all just so corrupt
I wish Rand were the man his father is, but he at least has enough courage to say "no" |
