I didn't even bother correcting her and telling her it was a DS. british people never really had Nintendo cause they were poor due to socialism and Thatcher shutting down the coal mines so while we had the NES in America they had really primitive eurojank games on "Amiga" and Zx Spectrum etc. That had like 4 colors and were single screen and you had to press up to jump.

Anyway I put it away and started reading a book (The Grapes of Wrath). Then like an hour later this chad guy pulls out his Old "phat" model DS, the 1st model, that wasn't even backlit, was huge and oafish, and played Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. A gay weeb anime rpg; this chick not only didn't make fun of him, she sat next to him and leaned on his shoulder and watched him play it. Ended up going out with them that night and had a killer time, the guy drank so much he pissed himself when he was in bed with her and told her she spilled a beer.
