I love this damn girl (10 months now) more than well y’all know. It feels like everything I do now is negative. I can’t do anything right. I’ve tried to do all house chores so when the wife gets home she has nothing to do but relax. Which she can’t do!! I’m a pro at pushing feelings down and forgetting but fuck!! Just fucking relax. Nothing needs to be done. You have time for yourself. You don’t need to “find” something to do. Just take time for yourself. So ya. How do you tell your wife that? lol. |

I’ve just about had it and don’t know what to do. I’m always wrong, she’s always right. She even makes me apologize to our 5 year old son if we have a disagreement. (Dont worry its a rental) Going to live in my car for a while with my dog until I can get shit figured out. Together we only have 1 child. Hes 4. Ive been with her since a pregnancy in 2020, (unknown when we got together, she didnt know, known her for 20 years atp) they are twins. They have my last name, know me as dad because I am. Love those little girls. Just not on the BC because she was still married to her ex at the timr because he refused to sign papers ect. Question is, wtf do I do now? My brain is all over the fucking place. I cant tolerate being treated like shit almost daily. Threatened, name called, talked down to, everything under the sun by a Narcissist. We are not married, have no assets together so financially, we arent tied to any degree minus both being on the lease for the house. Idk what to do. But I feel like leaving this house is thr best thing I can do. Im tired of being screamed at, tired of bipolar, depression, anxiety, or whatever the hell else she wants to blame it on. (Namely everything is ALWAYS somehow my fault. Or just men in general sometimes.) Idk what the hell im asking or even saying honestly. It has only been about 4 months or so and the ex has already found a new guy (who looks weirdly almost like me.) She thinks its ok to bring him around the house and do things with him that we never got to do because she always had some sort of excuse or reason. Well I told her I do not want him around the kids or at the house I have put the work into paying for and getting fixed and I do not want him in the bed I paid for. Does that make me the asshole? Am I wrong for not wanting a random guy around our kids that she barely even knows (that im aware of) that she is in a relationship with already? She claims to be "friends" but I seen the messages between them. Nothing about that vibe said friend. We were together for 10 years. I wanted to fix what was broken. She refuses to try anything. That is fine but she started talking to this dude and other guys almost right away when I got kicked out of the house. It is like she put her old life on pause and jumped right back into the attention she claimed she wouldn't be getting because "Guys are not worth it. I want to work on myself" P.S. The day I got kicked out, we had a conversation and it was only suppose to be a separation period so we could take a "breather" and then be friends and re-spark what we had. But she lied about that. Worse part about all this? I am still madly in love with her and still see her as my future. I do not have any interest in any one else. |

My wife stays 2-4 nights a week at her parents cause it’s easier for her to leave the 3 year old with grandma instead of just driving 5 minutes down the road…when she’s gone, it’s just me and my 10 year old (I’m on my 2nd marriage) I lose all motivation cause what motivates me is not in the house. the house gets wrecked and when she gets back I get railed for letting the house go, I spend the next few days trying to balance and make her happy but then she leaves and it starts all over again. It’s been 3 years of this. Yesterday she blew up and said some line crossing statements around my laziness and degrading mental health (adhd) I’m so burnt I don’t even argue, I just shut down. I don’t have any motivation to say anything except to just coast, be there for the kids, pay bills and don’t end up divorced again. I just don’t know how to begin fixing something I keep breaking. Update from the comments: cheating not a factor here. Sounds like it, it’s not. |
