FWIW I don't think we ever should've been in the ME; that's the biggest injustice by far. The slap in the face of cozying up to these guys right afterward is the insult on top of the injury.
Anyways it's not even normalization (being "friends" or on OK terms) that bothers me as much as funding/arming. |
