And the case for taking it is pretty clear. China can totally fuck us over with export restrictions on rare earth minerals, which would indeed make life much worse for americans in innumberable ways. Getting greenland is strategic insurance against that, in the same vein as reviving American manufacturing capacity.

Maybe you disagree. Maybe you love globalism and think it's superior to a self-sufficient country. But some some shitlib protests have nothing to do with the questions of geopolitical strategy posed. Not that I think Trump's approach is the right one or anything.
