Wife manufactured a fight the other day

Date: March 14th, 2026 7:30 AM Author: Irradiated windowlicker She and our son were about to leave to visit her parents for a week. One frequent point of contention is household chores. I am all about maximizing the value of my time, so I encourage her to hire out as much stuff as possible. She gets offended by this because she sees doing chores as a way for me to prove that I love her or something.
So anyway, she asked me, as my workday was starting, to load her bags. She knew I didn't have time to do that. I told her I didn't have time and that she should get one of my employees to do it. She said, I don't need him I need my husband! I refused to load the bags. She said, I'll just do ot myself.
I stood my ground and went to get coffee. I came back about 15 minutes later, and she and my son were gone. No goodbye. She would barely speak to me for the next day. |

At the same time, chores and weird little tasks are just a way for women to spread misery and micro manage you, solving it with $$$ infuriates her because she loses that leverage
This is definitely an edge case imo.
