(the attacker's entire body must be completely on-side of the last defender; if they're even it's offside) Or that *any* part of your body is past *every* part of their body (so it's ok for the attacker to be neutral/in-line with the last defender, but as soon as any part of his body goes past the defender it's a foul) or that *all* of your body is past *all* of their body (this would be the most defensible interpretation imo) |

who gaf if somebody's pinky (which he can't even *use* in this sport) is offside? The whole-person rule would prevent the dreaded goal camping scenario, while avoiding the kind of tactical pettifogging you see right now |
